Building your weekly view

Getting Mizanek ready

Your income, turned into a usable plan

Know what is safe to spend this week.

Mizanek turns each income cycle into clear spending periods, keeps bills on the calendar, and shows how your balance is expected to move.

No bank connection required. You stay in control of every update.

Built around financial clarity, not financial surveillance

  • No automatic transaction tracking
  • Flexible spending stays Unknown until you update it
  • Bills and estimates are clearly separated
  • Protected financial data is encrypted before storage

The monthly-weekly mismatch

Income arrives monthly. Life happens week by week.

A 10,000 MAD income cycle can look comfortable as one total. But rent may land in Week 1 while everyday spending continues through five separate weeks.

Mizanek allocates that cycle before you spend: 2,500 MAD for bills, 5,000 MAD for flexible spending, and 2,500 MAD projected to remain.

How one 10,000 MAD cycle changes by week

Monthly income10,000 MAD expected on the 25th
10,000 MAD
Week 1 needs2,500 MAD rent + 1,000 MAD flexible
3,500 MAD
Week 4 needs1,000 MAD flexible · no bills left
1,000 MAD

The income is monthly; the decision Mizanek clarifies is what each week can safely use.

The active income cycle

One cycle. Five clear spending periods.

Move between past, current and upcoming weeks. Each period shows its flexible amount, scheduled bills and the balance snapshot behind the plan.

Week 4: 1,000 MAD flexible + 0 MAD in bills remaining = 1,000 MAD available this week.

Week 1 is heavier because it includes the 2,500 MAD rent; the remaining weeks keep 1,000 MAD flexible.

This is a plan based on your entries and latest balance snapshot—not a bank balance.

A deliberate spending boundary

See what can be used now—and what is projected to remain.

Mizanek separates the current period’s flexible amount from scheduled bills and the balance expected at the end of the cycle.

You decide where the money stays and how it is moved.

Mizanek plans and recommends. It never moves money or reads a bank account.

Balance snapshots

Update what is left. See planned versus actual.

Mizanek does not need every purchase. Add a current balance snapshot and it can estimate spending, update the trajectory and keep the source of every figure visible.

Application-level financial encryption

Your financial data stays encrypted.

Mizanek encrypts protected financial information before it reaches database storage. The database keeps ciphertext—not readable amounts, balances or financial details.

Questions, answered

Understand Mizanek before you begin.

What is Mizanek?
Mizanek is a weekly money planner, recurring-bill organizer and household budgeting companion. It helps you plan before spending happens.
Does Mizanek connect to my bank?
No. The initial product does not connect to bank accounts or execute transfers. You enter and confirm the planning information yourself.
Can the Mizanek team see my income, bills or balances?
Mizanek must process the values you enter to calculate and display your plan. Protected financial values are encrypted before database storage, and internal administration tools are not designed to expose their decrypted contents. The authorized Mizanek service decrypts them only when needed to provide the app experience.
How are my financial values protected?
Mizanek applies application-level encryption before protected financial values are stored. The database contains ciphertext instead of readable amounts or financial details. This is not end-to-end encryption: the authorized service must decrypt and process those values to generate your plan.
Does Mizanek track every purchase automatically?
No. Bills can be tracked individually, but flexible spending stays Unknown until you report how much remains.
How does weekly planning work?
Mizanek combines the flexible amount planned for the period with unpaid scheduled bills due in that same period.
Can I use Mizanek alone?
Yes. Every account can use a personal household space. Inviting a partner is optional.
Can I invite a partner?
Yes. Invite a partner or spouse to share the household plan, or continue in a personal space and add them later.
Can I use a monthly or 15-day spending rhythm?
Yes. Weekly, every-15-days and monthly flexible-spending cadences are supported.
How does Mizanek estimate flexible spending?
It subtracts your reported remaining amount from the planned amount plus any extra top-ups. Until you update the balance, spending remains Unknown.
Is Mizanek available on iOS and Android?
Mizanek is being prepared for both iOS and Android. Join the waitlist when store links are not yet available.
Which currencies are supported?
A household uses one ISO currency at a time. The demonstration uses Moroccan dirhams (MAD).
Is my financial information sold to advertisers?
Mizanek is not designed around selling personal financial-planning data. Review the Privacy and Confidentiality page for current details.
Can I delete my account?
An account-deletion request flow is part of the product experience. Availability and retention details are explained in the privacy documentation.
